My background started in fine dining, working across Michelin starred kitchens throughout the UK, where I learned the power of precision and quality. From there, I gained valuable experience within an innovation development team at a large frozen food manufacturer, tackling HFSS targets and exploring new trends.
Most recently, I worked at Campden BRI, where I developed a strong understanding of food science, focusing on texture, viscosity, colour and shelf life. I then worked within the thermal processing team, gaining insight into food factories around the world and validating and optimising processes including retorts, ovens, cooking vessels, continuous process and microwave tunnels to ensure safety and efficiency
I later worked in product development, supporting products from initial concept through pilot plant trials and feasibility assessment. TasteBound is where all these experiences come together, innovation, craft and quality.
Today, TasteBond focuses on supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses, and established brands looking to innovate but needing practical support and guidance.
Our current projects range from helping start-ups refine recipes and processes to working with manufacturers on technical challenges and compliance.
